Rachel is the firm’s chief financial officer. Fukumoto oversees the company’s financial health and strategy, including managing all aspects of financial and cash flow planning, as well as financial reporting, risk management, data analysis and decision making.
Rachel brings more than 20 years of financial management experience from the nonprofit, education, legal, hospitality and corporate sectors to her position at G70. In her most recent role as the director of finance for the Hawaiian Humane Society, Fukumoto oversaw financial, accounting, insurance, statistics, reporting and IT operations at Honolulu’s largest animal shelter. She implemented a new electronic accounts payable system, oversaw automating the application process for the discounted Neuter Now program and enhanced internal reporting processes at the nonprofit.
Rachel is a certified public accountant in Hawaiʻi. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Fukumoto holds active memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
