General contractor Swinerton Builders began construction on Hawaii Pacific Universityʻs redevelopment of Aloha Tower Marketplace at Pier 10 in mid-June. Group 70 International was selected to do the design on the project.
HPUʻs mixed-use redevelopment, with completion scheduled in the fall of 2015, includes replacing some of the retail area with academic spaces. The second floor will have lofts for 300 student and faculty residents.
