G70 Civil Engineers provided construction management services for various repairs and improvements to the DHHL - owned water system in Ho'olehua, Moloka'i. The project includes the construction of a new pressure breaker water tank to replace an older, aging tank, the replacement of an existing pressure reducing valve, and the installation of a new pressure reducing station in various locations in Ho'olehua. The water system - owned, operated, and maintained by DHHL - serves the majority of the town, including homesteads, the high school, fire department, and airport, and is in constant need of repair. DHHL has invested monies to fix existing system problems and to proactively address future needs for their water infrastructure. G70 conducted weekly construction meetings, visited the site regularly, and managed the contractor on behalf of DHHL.
