Mark Tagawa, AIA, LEED AP, Joins G70 as Architecture Principal

Returning to Hawaiʻi after practicing in Southern California at some of the nation’s top design firms, Mark‘s diverse cadre of expertise includes healthcare, education, workplace and residential projects. His portfolio embraces risk-taking with appropriateness while seeking rigor and clarity. Mark’s recent work includes UCLA Health’s Neuropsychiatric Replacement Hospital; City of Hope’s Orange County Hospital; Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center; LA Lakers Training Facility; Permanent Supportive Housing for the Weingart Center; the award-winning UH West Oʻahu Administration and Health Sciences Building in addition to work designed and completed in both Asia and the Middle East. 

Mark’s design work has received numerous awards and has been recognized in publications domestically and internationally. With his ability to translate client vision into built form, he brings a broad portfolio across varying building typologies. Born and raised in Honolulu, Mark is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Architecture, and an alumnus of ʻIolani School.
