G70 welcomes Lila Youn Cheng as its newest planner on the team. In this new position, Cheng will manage research, technical writing, analysis, and interpretation of assessments, studies and reports related to compliance of local requirements. Cheng was most recently with the City and County of Honolulu as a planner for the Department of Planning and Permitting. Her professional experiences also include research and government positions in South Korea, as well as Palo Alto and Los Angeles in California. She earned a Master of Planning (MPL) and Public Policy certificate from the University of Southern California (USC), and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently resides in the Waipio area.
