OAHU, HI—Turtle Bay on the North Shore here has completed the renovation of its beach cottages.
which now come with a separate concierge service and a number of amenities, privileges and offerings accessible only to cottage guests.
This upgrade is part of a resort-wide, eco-sensitive renovation enhancing food and beverage operations, event staging and guest experiences.
The cottages are set away from the rest of the resort on the shore of the bay that gives Turtle Bay its name.
Group 70 led the redesign, blending Old Hawaii with a modern flair. Each 740-sq.-ft. cottage features 15-ft. ceilings, polished Brazilian walnut floors, contemporary furnishings and upgraded marble bathrooms with deep-soaking tubs. Additional offerings include a pre-visit on-line advisory service, an on-arrival greeting complete with a fresh lei and local artisan snacks, an amenity-of-the-day, robes and slippers, Hawaiian teas and coffees, and an assortment of beach accessories.
“The discrete setting of the beach cottages was always spectacular but the attention to detail and the service that now accompany them allow Turtle Bay to welcome today’s most discerning travelers,” stated General Manager Danna Holck.
The cottages are part of The Collection at Turtle Bay, consisting the resort’s “most exquisite” accommodations, including the Ocean Villas and the Premier Rooms located on top of the main hotel.
In addition to the cottages, Turtle Bay Resort recently upgraded all 410 guestrooms, expanded its Nalu Kinetic Spa and Fitness Center, reinvented its food and beverage programs, and added 1,500 solar panels throughout the property.
Renovations will continue throughout the coming year with additional new food and beverage offerings and entertainment options.
