Named in honor of lead donor Joanna Lau Sullivan and her family, the Sullivan Center celebrates and honors the Sullivan family’s commitment to serving the community, belief in the importance of education and lifelong learning for Hawai‘i’s youth.
The ceremony was held on the fourth floor of the center and opened with an oli by Kumu Hula Sean Nakayama ’93 followed by a blessing by The Right Rev. Robert Fitzpatrick, Rev. Daniel Leatherman and Rev. Nicole Simopolous. Head of School Dr. Timothy R. Cottrell delivered the welcoming remarks.
