Girl Scouts of Hawaii Paumalu Camp MP

Hale'iwa, O‘ahu

Completed in 2013, the Master Plan prepared by G70 International is part of a larger five-year Strategic Plan preparing for the Girl Scouts of Hawai‘i’s 100th year anniversary. The master plan’s design approach creates a Hawaiian “Sense of Place” specific to the region and calls for the replacement of aged structures and improved infrastructure. Three major themes were established and define the design of the camp: Timeless Learning; Host/Guest/Place Relationship; and Leadership. These themes directly support the National Girl Scouts Leadership Experience’s three keys to leadership: Discover; Connect; and Take Action.
