The project was to convert the Presidential Suite located at the top floor of Sheraton Waikiki Hotel into an elegant and imaginative destination wedding venue with the sight of Diamond Head, the symbol of Hawai‘i, from the sky. The wedding venue is 2,600 SF composed of mainly four spaces – The Wedding Chapel, groom room, bride room and vestibule. At the Wedding Chapel, the space is wrapped up with Canadian white oak, and enclosed with a glass bifold door that allows for sky and ocean views and light to come through. The design of the wedding chapel is a clean modern look with the layers of tray oak ceiling tucked under one another to represent the couple and its families who support each other forever.
