As a master planner and urban designer, Rene uses design to create communities.  She strives to create visionary, yet realistic solutions for her projects and has extensive experience in large-scale communities, housing, commercial centers, transit-oriented districts, and university campuses projects.  Rene’s work includes all phases of master planning from initial site analysis, feasibility studies, program development, concept alternatives, master plans and design guidelines. Her strategic design approach based on a strong understanding of the physical, regulatory, and cultural context adds immense value to her client’s development projects. It is through such collaborations that she is provided with a platform for her passion to develop engaging communities, spaces, and environments that positively impact Hawai’i families.
