G70 is proud to announce the promotion of Lance Hirai, AIA to Associate Principal. A registered Architect in the state of Hawai‘i, Hirai has more than 13 years of experience on a broad range of hospitality, commercial, residential, civic, and educational projects as well as master planning. Through his dedication to conscious design and his ability to visualize outcomes of large-scale projects, his strategic approach brought value to Hirai’s involvement in the recent award-winning campus expansion phases for ‘Iolani School (Residence Hall, K-1 Community, and Labs & Studios). A passionate mentor, his reliability, ability to connect with and edify the upcoming generation, has made him a perfect fit for mentoring the firm’s interns, incoming staff, and UH Manoa architecture department students. Hirai also serves as an Alliance Board member with the Boys and Girls Club of Hawai‘i and the ACE Mentor Program. In his new role as Associate Principal, Hirai will continue to work with G70’s clientele to develop engaging communities, environments, and spaces for the global community and generations to come.
