HONOLULU – Hawai’i design firm G70 has announced the hiring of Jennifer Lam, Kehau Teves and Ethan Yin to the firm.
Jennifer Lam joins the G70 planning department as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialist. In this role she will develop and implement systems and databases to access and store geospatial data, allowing organizations and clients to make informed decisions.
Lam has four years of experience as a GIS specialist, where she developed an expertise in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and ENVI. Using these tools, Lam successfully contributed to the environmental conservation and sustainability of various projects by creating detailed spatial models and conducting thorough analyses. Lam earned her master’s in environmental management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Science in ecology, evolution and environment from Purdue University.
Kehau Teves, D. Arch, joins G70’s architecture department as a designer. In this role, Teves will aid in the review and preparation of drawings, coordinate with consultants and synthesize design information into clear and coherent client presentations.
Prior to joining G70, Teves worked as an independent contractor/architect at Kokomo Studio. She has over seven years of experience in design and project coordination for educational, commercial and large hospitality facilities, and worked alongside a diverse range of design team consultants and general contractors. Teves earned her Doctor of Architecture and bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Ethan Yin joins G70’s civil engineering department as a civil engineer. In this role, he will work with project managers and subconsultants to coordinate and prepare drawings, reports, construction documentation and material reviews.
Yin previously served as a civil engineering intern at Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, where he supported permit management and specification review for various projects. Yin earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Portland.
