Elyse Takashige, AIA, LEED AP, rejoins the G70 Architecture department as a Project Architect. In this role, she will work alongside G70 principals to lead and manage project teams through design and construction phases for projects in various market sectors. Takashige brings nearly a decade of experience in architectural design and project management, with notable projects including Waipahu High School, Aiea High School, Wai’anae Searider Productions, Kanoelani Elementary School, and Embassy Suites Kapolei. Her strengths lie in being an inclusive leader, maintaining strong client and colleague relationships, and creating dynamic and relevant designs that are conscious of their impact on the end user, community, and the environment.
Takashige was apart of the Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance, Cohort 4, and serves as the CANstruction Committee Co-Chair for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Hawai’i Chapter. With a passion for sustainability and education, Takashige previously held positions on the Board of Directors for SEEQS: the School for Examining Essential Questions of Sustainability as the Past Governing Board Secretary and Past Governance Committee Chair. Takashige holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California.
