The 300-acre Kamehameha Schools Hawai’i campus is located in Kea’au, eight miles south of Hilo. The school currently enrolls 1,156 K-12 students. G70 updated the Master Plan and provided architectural design services for Phases II-V for Kamehameha Schools new campus on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. Building types include: learning resource center, administrative, classrooms, cafeteria, music and band, science, football/track stadium, gymnasium, performing arts, and a chapel. G70 designed the high school science building to provide educational facilities to support Physics, Chemistry, and Biology curriculum. The science labs are organized around a central space that is used for science on display and as a collaboration area. G70 coordinated all lab furnishings and equipment.
