Hawai'i Baptist Academy is a LEED Gold facility. Built for sustainability, the design preserves 87% of the open area, saves 45% on energy costs, preserves water by use of rainwater catchment and low flow fixtures, and incorporates photo voltaic panels. G70 designed the new middle school to respect the unique environmental surroundings, relate to the historic architecture of the residential neighborhood and provide state of the art educational facilities. Completed in March 2006 at a construction cost of $9.5M.
